UT Dallas To Provide Additional Professional Tools for Faculty and Staff

The University of Texas at Dallas has teamed with Academic Impressions to provide extensive online leadership and professional development resources for its faculty, staff and students.

Academic Impressions provides a comprehensive set of higher-education specific resources, including skills-based training for:

Academic Impressions takes a three-pronged approach to its work in diversity, equity and inclusion by focusing on education and awareness, self-reflection, and advice on how to take action on each topic. Topics include identifying and addressing microaggressions, leading as an underrepresented individual, anti-racism, and heteronormativity.

Comets will have access to hundreds of hours of online, on-demand and live training sessions, with new trainings added weekly. Offerings also include all Academic Impressions virtual conferences; exclusive member resources for academic leaders, including current and aspiring female leaders; and resources for improving online teaching and student support.
