Grad Programs Garner Recognition from U.S. News & World Report

Graduate programs at UT Dallas received high marks in the U.S. News & World Report rankings, released March 29, 2022, with the Naveen Jindal School of Management climbing into the top 30 full-time graduate business schools nationwide.

The Jindal School full-time Master of Business Administration program placed 29th in the U.S., in the top 10 among public schools nationwide and second among Texas public schools. The school also climbed into the top 20 for its business analytics and part-time MBA programs. The MBA specialty in information technology management jumped to 12th, while the finance specialty made its first appearance in the rankings, placing 34th.

“These rankings are an affirmation that we have been doing the right things when it comes to student recruitment, academics, postgraduation job placements, and employer and alumni relations,” said Dr. Hasan Pirkul, Caruth Chair and Jindal School dean.

The computer engineering graduate program in the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science climbed into the national top 50, landing at No. 47, while the electrical engineering (No. 51), computer science (No. 63) and mechanical engineering (No. 75) programs saw modest gains.

In the School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences, the public affairs program rose to 56th, while the public and nonprofit management program debuted in the specialty list at No. 32.

The audiology program in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences remains the highest-ranked UTD program, tied at No. 2 in the nation.
